Olelo - Cable Television Taping on March 25th
Today Nik and I set out to tour Olelo television studios. After sitting through rush hour traffic we looped around the block, past 99 Ranch market a couple of times before seeing the big illuminated olelo sign near the tops of the trees. Robert, the producer of the music show on Olelo greeted us in the lobby and took us to the studio we are going to be filmed in. The set up is impressive. The studio itself is more like a hangar than a room. A series of curtains hang on heavy metal rails so that the curtains can completely encircle the studio. I'm really looking forward to this. The show will be filmed on March 25th with a live studio audience. Check back later to find out how to win a chance to be a member of the live studio audience!

The Oldest Bar in Hawaii
Last night we met up at Indigos at 8pm then moved over to Bar 35 where Richard, a photographer from the Star Bulletin was waiting for us. We need some photos for our presskit and he had agreed to take them. After taking a ton of photos in the back lounge of the bar, we headed outside to take some photos near Mark's Garage. As soon as we got out the door and onto the street, the storm clouds moved over the Koolaus and hit us hard. Seeking some shelter till the rain let up, we headed into Smith's Union bar. We soon learned from the bartender, that we were in the oldest bar in Hawaii. After a friendly chat, he ended up buying us a round of shots and we finished up the night drinking 2 dollar beers while "La Isla Bonita" played out on the jukebox. It was surreal. Thanks again for taking photos Richard! I can't wait to see them!
