NEW SONG: I'm leaving home

That's the new title of a new song that we played for 2 hours straight last night. Last night we practiced at Vibe Asylum. We spent the whole night working on one song and one song only. We all decided that it was the only the way that we'd ever get anything done. I took my camera to practice to get a shot to post but I didn't take any photos because we played the song over and over... Anyway, the new song's called "im leaving home" but it's probably going to change as the song gets more refined. I think it sounds kind of metal... but I don't know.

Nice photos. I like the the one on the bottm. Hey, I'm reading this book, "The World is Flat," by Thomas Friedman. It talks about the power of internet collaboration. So let's try it out. This is weird though, because I don't want to post anything that's not finished yet... Yeah, guess we'll keep this strictly to email then... I'm emailing you now.

Still looking for new sounds...

This weekend we'll be making some new music. I'm looking forward to it. Danmerle, clean out your inbox! "let's get it started," "you're good to go..." etc...

It's been a long time since we had a band meeting and actually got to talk about things. We met at Nik's and talked over the tour, getting the dates set, booking the venues, and arranging for the equipment. I'm not going to type anything about the exact dates until we've booked our plane tickets and confirmed the venues.

We talked about making songs lastnight. I remember someone asking me what the new music is going to sound like and I had a hard time saying anything because they change all of the time... There are still three songs that we keep playing over and over during practice. They're just night right yet. But we agreed to try to have them finished by the show at Pipeline on May 27. Ok, late for work...

HAPPY EASTER!!!



This is the BEST day of the year!!! I (unfortunately) am not feeling up to par. I had a mad fun karaoke party last night! Food was minimal but drinks were optimal. I'm paying for it all now. Feeling fragile on a very festive day is not fun at all but it's worth it:) Thanks to everyone who came out last night.....It means a lot that you all celebrated my birthday w/ me. "Livin on a Prayer" and "Day by Day" were the prime songs of the evening!!!
