I don't even have a costume yet... But I'm sure I can find one at savers or something. But they're probably going to be packed tonight. I'm feeling star wars insipred after I saw this photo online today:

EDIT: I think he's supposed to be Inigio Montoya from "The Princess Bride." And after a little digging, I found out that Mandy Patkin, the actor who played Montoya in TPB is also in "Dead Like Me." cool.



I like halloween as much as the next guy but what I really like are ghost stories and ghost photos. Here are a few of the best photos I've seen in a while. They just give off that creepy vibe. I've never liked orb photos though. I want to see a face!

Summing up last week. Planning the next month...

Last week was hectic for LINUS. We played a bunch of shows at a bunch of venues. You'll notice that we're taking a few weeks off from playing live shows while we record our second CD. That's right, we're going to start recording this week.

A bunch of people have been asking me what's going to be on the next CD. I think they mean, "Which songs are going to be on the next CD?" I don't really know what we're going to put on the CD but we have some choices. I think we're going to record everything then, pick which ones work the best.

I was talking to Ben from The Crud at Ana Bananas the other night and I told him that we're thinking about making a double disc album. I think this album is going to be very different from the first one. (if I have my way)

We have our hands in a bunch of different things as a band right now. I don't even know how much sense this post makes, I just wanted to post something after those two shows on one night. That was fun, but it was hectic. I want to start playing sit-down shows. The DVD is going REALLY well. I have a Adobe Encore DVD manual here on my desk that I'm going to read later on today.

I've been showing the start of the DVD to some people and the response has been good so far. I think it's going to be great. So I guess, this post is about how we're going to take a little break before we play more shows. I think we'll get the songs to disc, burn it, then release it.

Back to back shows tonight at Detox and Ana Bananas

Tonight we're playing at two different venues. It's Friday night and I think we'll get a good response. We play at Detox at 8pm and we play last at Ana Bananas, probably around 11pm. See you there.

Deck Chairs and Cigarettes

Last night was fun. Only thing though, I sat down at my computer to google some of the artists in the music videos that I saw last night. One problem, I don't remember any of them, only bits and pieces, twinkle star? hana suka no dance?

What was the name of the South Korean soul band? The video with flying papyas and the singing drummer. I want their CD. They remind me of "Tokyo No. 1 Soul Set."

And I want that japanese dance music one where the two girls are petting the dear then the disappear into that bowling ball bag...

When we played at Detox the other night, Otto was handing out voting ballots for the Hawaii Underground Music Awards. No, seriously, it's going to be a "red carpet" event. LINUS has been nominated for two awards! Yes!
