Ok, I finally decided to buy some recording gear. After a really long look, and some horror stories from other people, I think I've found what I've been looking for. I'm planning on buying a Zoom PS-04 when I get my next paycheck. My friend found a cheap used one on craigslist. Zoom says it's "a recording wonder in the palm of your hand."
