RE: Hobby Hunter cover

Listening to it right now.

Sounds jazzy and all Bebel Gilberto. Awesome!

Would you mind if I posted this song as an mp3 on our website? I can't keep this to myself... please?

hi, david :]

so here it is! it's a rough version though because we were in a rush to get

something done before i had to give the mbox back to my brother, so we only had 3 hours to do this. my brother wants us to re-record it again in december when he comes up here, and it'll be waaay better than this one, i know it. hah. you have quite a range! this was the first time i've seen kim struggle to get something down. i hope we sound okay to you =X

I want to be a "Bedroom Rocker"

Last night we had a show at Detox. The opening band, Dolls till Daylight, was really good. I ran into a few old friends that I hadn't seen in almost 10 years. It takes so much energy from everyone involved to put together shows with live music in Hawaii. It makes me want to become a bedroom rocker... I don't get it...

ISBNspy.com on Lifehacker.com!

Hello friends. I have a confession to make. I haven't been writing music as much as I would like to because, for the past few months, I have been coding and testing a tiny website for mobile phones that allows you to lookup book prices and reviews on amazon.com while you're still in the bookstore.

I just recently released the site to the public and today it was featured on www.lifehacker.com, a tech/hack/productivity blog! Hooray!

If you want to try it out, go to www.isbnspy.com from your mobile phone (or your desktop computer) and type in an ISBN. You'll get the current price of the book, the book's average rating out of 5, and it'll suggest other books if the one you looked up doesn't sound that good. Email me if you like it.

And now, back to the music....

Dance Dance Revolution

Last night I recorded a new song called "Listen Up." It sounds cool. It's a dance song. We're going to rehearse it at practice in a few days. I still want to find a xylophone to work on another song called "Hold on Hold on things are never gonna change." I wonder where I can get a cheap xylophone one on this island? Any ideas? I don't know how long it'll take for the song to make it to a live show but I like it a lot.

Here's a list of the new songs we're working on:

1) I left Home
2) Lost in a Binding Tie
3) Walking Through the Woods
4) Hold on
5) Crystal Clear

I ran into jason today. He was handing out flyers for the Chinatown show. I'll post the flyer as soon as I scan it in. I'm expecting to launch the new LINUS! website in the next few weeks. Stay tuned.

We're playing a show at BLISS tonight (across from compusa)

This is great. We’ve been talking about wanting to play at different venues around Hawai‘i and it’s finally coming true. Just two nights ago we played at Next Door (one of the nicest venues on the island in my opinion) and tonight we’re playing at BLISS. So put on your dancing shoes because I’m sure this is going to be fun. Check out the shows section for more information. Doors open at 9pm.

Ok, we're starting to use electricity

I’ve been messing around with REASON and I think I’m getting somewhere. I just sent Nik a couple of recordings and we’re going to work on them the next time we get to practice. This has been a busy week or so of shows. I want to work on some new material soon.
